My Story
My story started with a simple love: capturing moments as they really happen, without a script or a pose.
As an athlete myself, I know what it feels like to be in the moment — the intensity before the whistle, the emotion after a hard-fought win or a tough loss, the competitive fire that drives you to push further. That understanding is what first drew me to sports photography. In college, I picked up a camera to photograph sports simply because I wanted to capture those moments in others.
Life took me down a different professional path first. I built a career in business, and for years, photography stayed what it had always been for me: something personal. I photographed my own kids and their teammates as they grew up playing sports— capturing the moments parents don't get to see from the stands. Over more than a decade, that "just for fun" habit became a real body of work.
In recent years, I decided to pursue photography more seriously. What hasn't changed is why I started: a love for the game, the moment, and the people in front of my lens. Today, I bring that same passion — backed by a business owner's discipline and years of hands-on experience — to every senior portrait session, sideline shoot, and headshot I capture.
I'd love to help tell your story next.
